Gilbert Valéry buys a 30 ha wine-farm equipped with a cellar in Serignan, in the Herault French department. During his lifetime, he never stopped widening his domain buying new earth in Serignan and Sauvian, a neighbouring village.



He built a bigger and more modern cellar in Sauvian, at the edge of the road (D19). This new wine-making unity has a capacity of 25.000 hl.



In 1974, after Gilbert Valéry's death, his two children, Patricia and Michel, inherit of the family domain. They are the current owners of this domain, and carry on their father's work.



A superintendant, Christian Alméras, has been hired in 1989 in order to improve the cultural techniques with the aim of producing high-quality wines.

In 20 years, 90% of the regional grape varieties have been replaced.


The regional grape varieties restructuring enables the Valéry Family to bottle a part of its production under the brand Domaine des Deux Ruisseaux, a Vin de Pays d'Oc Appellation.



In 2007, building, on this production place, of a barrel storehouse and storage warehouse of 900 m² with optimal air-conditioning of the wines.


Patricia and Michel Valéry, take back the ancestral wine-farm of Château le Thou. This 20 ha domain is extended on the Côteaux de Sauvian and produce Controlled Appellation Wines Côteaux du Languedoc under the brand Château le Thou. 


However, the Valéry Family doesn't end there !

Indeed, after 25 years of agriculture og gentle sustainable vine management, it launches a natural and mellow wines range under the brand Eden, a Vin de France Appellation.



The Domaine des Deux Ruisseaux, Valéry Family's property, is lying on the South of France with its 150 ha of vineyards.

Close to Béziers, in the Languedoc region, it is located at the gates of Sauvian and Sérignan villages, very close to the Mediterranean sea.
